EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE

 High School Diploma

At least Six Months related experience or training

Knowledge of medical record keeping principles to include confidentiality, release of information and chart organization/maintenance.

 JOB SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Uploads paperwork/documents into AdvancedMD and save to appropriate section in the patient's chart
• Maintain appointment scheduler for all physicians ensuring time is used in an efficient manner
• Returns messages for new patient appointments within 48 hours of receiving the call
• Verifies and updates patient demographic information into AdvancedMD including checking for expired releases, ID cards, and updating insurance cads, and confirms all flagged accounts and quick notes have been addressed appropriately
• Gathers new patient demographic information and creates/loads information into the account and creates a task for COR to load information
• Log live calls, messages, new patient calls, and refills into appropriate spreadsheet for tracking
