New Policy Coordinator processes incoming applications for new and renewing policies to include changes/updates according to company guidelines for group health, dental and/or life policies. Responsibilities include reviewing and screening requests, calculating new premiums, issuing new policies and associated documentation. Being a New Policy Coordinator serves assigned accounts by responding to inquiries and resolving issues of concern. Requires an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, New Policy Coordinator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The New Policy Coordinator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Summary: Supervise work-based learning staff, establish workforce partnerships, and provide students avenues to refine critical thinking, workplace readiness and technical skills; essential to pursing a healthy life and career pathways. Create and coordinate work-based learning (WBL) career presentations and tours, field trips, job shadowing, paid and non-paid internships.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in business, special education, education, sociology, behavior analysis, vocational rehabilitation, psychology, human or social services.
· Two (2) or more years work experience in business or industrial applications (preferred).
· Three (3) or more years of related experience with I/DD and Autism or teaching experience (preferred).
· Operating knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suites.
· Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
· Light to moderate lifting (required).
· Highly developed organizational, time management, human relations and interpersonal communication and writing skills; self-motivated, flexible, and creative.
· Experience in supervising personnel.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems.
· Experience with planning, budgeting, creating, coordinating, and completing workforce activities and or projects and partnerships.
