New Policy Specialist processes incoming applications for new and renewing policies to include changes/updates according to company guidelines for group health, dental and/or life policies. Responsibilities include reviewing and screening requests, calculating new premiums, issuing new policies and associated documentation. Being a New Policy Specialist serves assigned accounts by responding to inquiries and resolving issues of concern. May handle more complex situations or issues. Additionally, New Policy Specialist requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The New Policy Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Landscape Lighting Specialist provides thoughtfully designed outdoor lighting systems, built with high-quality materials; advanced energy-efficient LED technology, and next-level attention to detail.     We launch service and installation vans from our shop located near Downtown Ann Arbor with easy highway access to clients in southeast Michigan. Most of our projects are in Ann Arbor and surrounding areas including Brighton, Canton, Northville and the Bloomfield area.

    We are a small, fast-paced and efficient team of lighting specialists looking for recruits to help us manage the growing demand for our services.

    Landscape Lighting Service Apprentice Technician

    • complete maintenance and repair service calls
    • service and maintain existing lighting systems
    • use client management application to complete assignments, take detailed notes, track time materials and invoice
    • assist on installations

    Our company will provide on-site training in all aspects of installation and servicing low-voltage outdoor lighting systems. Landscaping, Electrical, Construction, or Home Services experience is helpful.

    Applicants should expect to:

    • assemble, wire, connect and position landscape light fixtures
    • bury wiring and return landscapes to pristine condition
    • perform physically and mentally demanding tasks
    • absorb knowledge and grow skills

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • have basic tool knowledge
    • be prepared to work hard outside in all weather
    • attention to detail (quality is a must)
    • be able to receive instruction, prioritize tasks, manage time/resources and work independently
    • be energetic, positive and have a professional attitude
    • excellent communication and customer service skills
    • a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
