Job Title : Warehouse Retail Assistant & Janitorial Specialist

Job Description :

Overview : We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Retail Assistant and janitorial Specialist.

This role primarily involves assisting with packing and shipping items for our online store and performing janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities :

Shipping Assistance :

• Assist in packaging items securely for shipment, including wrapping, boxing, and labeling merchandise.
• Ensure accurate documentation of shipments and adherence to shipping protocols and deadlines.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track deliveries as needed.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, sorting, and storing incoming merchandise.

Janitorial Duties :

• Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, notifying management of any shortages or maintenance issues.

Facility Maintenance :

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety protocols.

Team Collaboration :

• Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to support store operations and maintain a positive work environment.
• Assist other team members as needed with tasks related to donation processing, retail sales, or customer service.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in shipping, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Knowledge of basic janitorial practices and procedures.
