New Policy Specialist jobs in Kansas City, KS

The New Loan Specialist is responsible for soliciting and servicing short-term loans to potential consumers. They will be assisting customers through the underwriting process which includes verification of information along with obtaining employment and earnings information. New Loan Specialists will be working in collaboration with the Underwriting Team, who makes the final decision of approving or denying the loan based on qualifying criteria. This position will directly report to the New Business Supervisor.

New Loan Specialist – Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Generating new business (loans) by engaging with potential customers via email, phone and texts that promote and sell financial services we offer.
• Must meet daily and monthly goals/quotas provided by Sales Manager and/or QA Manager that support the individual KPIs.(i.e. Calls made per day, attendance, QA scorecard, leads handled, daily amount funded, etc).
• Assisting customers in the loan process by following the procedures put in place by management.
• Adhering to follow-up guidelines to ensure outstanding obligations are satisfied. Uses working queues and call-backs effectively to assist hitting monthly goals.
• Receives feedback, training, mentoring and overall learning of sales and new business practices / procedures from support staff i.e. NB Manager/Supervisor/QA as applicable.
• Utilizing active listening skills to build rapport, understand customer needs, and their motivation to buy in order to close the sale.
• Demonstrates consistent professionalism in the workplace and follows all company policies and procedures.
• Working knowledge of new business processes and compliance regulations.
• Maintains outstanding quality assurance results plus working knowledge of compliance guidelines.
• Demonstrating a positive attitude while engaging in a fun and challenging work environment.
• Working knowledge of internal software systems to incl. ADP, Outlook, Five9, Infinity,Chirp,DecisionLogic etc.
• Special projects or duties as assigned or required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,623.79 - $47,718.96 per year
