We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing project specifications, crafting precise cost estimates, and delivering accurate bids for a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction management coupled with exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Requirement:
● Minimum 2 years’ experience as project manager in the construction industry with a contractor
● Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
● Applicants are requested to provide 2-3 professional references
● Strong computer skills, including familiarity with construction project management applications.
● Excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Required to work directly with owners' representatives, and other team members
● Intermediate finance skills are required
● Must be highly organized and detail oriented to manage multiple projects and deadlines, must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and on time.
Responsibilities:
● Experience in Planswift, Procore, Quickbooks, CRM's, and learn in-house software
● Assist in various aspects related to construction projects, from bidding to completion
● Review/ produce quantity take-off using software
● Track bid advertisements and respond to service inquiries as necessary
● Analyze plans and specifications
● Manage subcontractors, material suppliers and material orders
● Participate in planning, coordinating, overseeing, and managing administrative project activities
● Coordinate budget development and time schedules
● Assist in preparing subcontractor and supplier contracts and purchase orders
● Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and field personnel
● Monitor monthly project costs and invoicing as needed
● Manage RFIs, material submittals, and delivery as required
● Maintain professional communication, both written and oral, with all project stakeholders
● Attend and document project progress meetings/ site visits
● Request and/ or prepare submittals
● Track and manage budget, cost control, change orders
● Oversee production control, quality control, safety and loss prevention, project closeout, inspections
● Manage payment, negotiation, and claims
● Provide support for field superintendent as required
● Produce and update project schedule to client
