Cabinet Shop Project Manager/Drafter
Summary: A Cabinet Shop Project Manager/Drafter ensures production goals and deadlines are being met without sacrificing the quality of the product by communicating with General Contractors and Venders, and completing shop drawing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manages the communication between General Contractor’s, Production Shop, Material Venders, and Shipping Companies ensuring high quality casework is completed on time and to specifications.
· Utilizes CAD program (Microvellum) to accurately complete shop drawings for casework.
· Responsible for quality, accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of projects.
· When available takes field measurements and meets with client
· Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
· Personable, positive attitude, team player with a drive to succeed
· Effective problem solving
· Woodworking experience
· Microvellum experience is a plus, but will train
Education:
· High school diploma or GED certificate
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in woodworking
· A minimum of 1-year supervisory experience
