Non-Destructive Test Technician uses automated and manual techniques including ultrasound and radiography to perform non-destructive tests to identify errors or defects in equipment. May be responsible for testing engines or other mechanical components, storage or transport vessels like pipelines or containers, or major structures like bridges or tunnels. Being a Non-Destructive Test Technician requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Non-Destructive Test Technician works under moderate supervision. POSITION: PRODUCT TEST TECHNICIAN
I.
Set-up and run performance, safety and certification tests on heat pumps, water heaters, air-handlers and related components or equipment as required, including refrigerant charging and adjustment.

Reports to Production Management
III.
1. Install, test and record test data on production products and components.
2. Collect and publish test results on units/components.
3. Maintain equipment and instrumentation as required.
4. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
