    DEPARTMENT: Operations-Test

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Setup bench test stations to prepare for operation
    • Train test operators according to test procedures and confirm operator comprehension
    • Perform complex electrical tests
    • Troubleshoot failed assemblies using provided equipment down to the component level
    • Record and analyze test results
    • All other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Self-motivated as well as the ability to work well with others
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent mechanical aptitude
    • Good communication skills
    • Strong computer skills
    • Understanding of fundamental electronic concepts and components
    • Ability to use oscilloscopes, DMM, microscopes, and other test equipment
    • Strong trouble-shooting skills
    • Basic mathematical skills
    • Ability to read schematics
    • Must be able to work in a seated position for up to 8 hours per day
    • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
    • Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background check
    • Must be able to meet all physical requirements as outlined in this position description
    • Must follow all company policies outlined in the EI Microcircuits Employee Handbook of Personnel Policies
    • Complete all orientation and training needs as written in policy

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • Must have either an Electronic Technician Certificate from an accredited technical school or equivalent post-secondary education, or equivalent work experience
    • Trained in IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies preferred, but not required

    Pay: From $26.00 per hour
