National Inspection & Consultants has an immediate opening for a Level II Ultrasonic/Eddy Current Technician for a long term opportunity on the West Coast.
This assignment involves the inspection of in-service aircraft parts, and will be trained in techniques fully before departing to site.
(requires successful completion of specialized training).
Responsibilities
- Perform non-destructive testing using eddy current and ultrasonic techniques according to NAS-410 standards
- Conduct quality inspections and data collection on manufactured parts
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports
- Utilize schematics to interpret testing requirements
- Ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards for quality control and assurance
- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and soldering equipment for testing and assembly tasks
Basic Requirements:
1. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
2. 2 years experience performing both Eddy Current & Ultrasonic testing.
4. Candidates shall have Level II certification in line with NAS-410 guidance in ultrasonic(UT) and eddy current (ET).
5. US Citizenship is required - Only US citizens are authorized to access information under this contract.
