The Engineering Project Coordinator will work closely with the project managers and product development team, gathering equipment, resources, and information to implement upcoming projects. Duties include maintaining budgets and work schedules, organizing, and participating in shareholder meetings and ensuring all deadlines for assigned projects are met.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
• Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
• Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
• Managing project management documents such as the project plan, schedule, or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
• Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks.
• Support team members when implementing risk management strategies.
• Keeping PMO team members up to date with upcoming due dates, meetings, and deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field - highly preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management roles or related fields preferred
• Working knowledge of project management software such as MS Project desktop, MS Project Online, or Primavera PM software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency are a must.
• Project management certifications: Certified associate in project management (CAPM), or similar – a plus
