Nuclear Laboratory Technologist Supervisor supervises personnel engaged in diagnostic laboratory testing. Performs assigned phases of nuclear research under the guidance of Director of Nuclear Medicine. Being a Nuclear Laboratory Technologist Supervisor assists medical students with hands-on instruction and equipment training. Monitors inventory of radioisotopes. Additionally, Nuclear Laboratory Technologist Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine. The Nuclear Laboratory Technologist Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Nuclear Laboratory Technologist Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Location: Dallas or Fort Worth, TX - with travel to client sites throughout U.S.

    The Clinical Accounts Manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient clinical and technical performance at each of CDL Nuclear Technologies - Cardiac PET Customers, whether such Customers are serviced by mobile or fixed equipment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work under the Director of Operations on new Customer Clinical/Technical startup.
    • Directly interface with the Customer, administrators, physicians, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses, equipment providers, physicists, as well as CDL sales and management, to ensure the most efficient startup process.
    • Work to ensure each clinical startup is working at smooth operations of the Cardiac PET system from a technologist level and to maintain technologist competence in the future.
    • Ensure physicians are properly trained in the technical and clinical aspects of Cardiac PET.
    • Ensure client personnel follow ALARA principles.
    • Work directly with the CDL Director of Operations and Project Managers.
    • Ensure on-going operations of the Cardiac PET laboratory is running efficiently and all staff are comfortable with all processes.
    • Assist in ensuring the objectives of patient care, personnel and equipment management, quality assurance, in-service education, new client start-up, customer satisfaction and radiation safety are met.
    • Work as a staff technologist for CDL PET and CDL Hybrid accounts, when needed.
    • Provide routine updates on progress and issues to Customer, management, and operations personnel, such updates shall be available weekly, monthly, and as requested.
    • Performs on-going training for clinical and technical advancements and/or for new client employees.
    • Routinely visits client facilities to ensure technologist and physician overall satisfaction.
    • Maintain CDL’s business and patient confidentiality.
    • Appropriately assist with training new employees and coworkers.
    • Diligently apply the CDL Company Objectives of “Best Appropriate Patient Care”.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must have an associate degree in Nuclear Medicine, Bachelor’s preferred.
    • Must be board certified by the NMTCB and/or AART
    • Must have a minimum of four years of experience in Cardiac PET Nuclear Medicine
    • Must have demonstrated creativity in improving work routines and in completing assigned projects
    • Must possess expert communication, human relation, organizational and clinical/technical Nuclear Cardiac training skills to work effectively and compatibly to complete all tasks required
    • Must possess the professionalism and poise to deal with conflict and emergencies and adaptability to deal with change as it occurs
    • Willingness to travel as often as necessary to sites to meet new customers, understand the scope of each project, and effectively oversee all clinical and technical aspects of each Customer startup, to include laboratory startup, technologist training, allied health training, physician training, applications training and clinical understanding by all client involved personnel
