    • Deliver engaging and informative lectures and laboratory sessions on topics related to nuclear physics within the context of nuclear medicine technology. Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with program objectives and industry standards. 
    • The instructor should be able to provide students with a solid foundation in understanding the principles and applications of nuclear physics including atomic structure, radioactive decay, nuclear reactions, radioactivity and radiation, isotopes and nuclear stability, radiation detection and measurement, and medical applications in the context of nuclear medicine technology.

    This position is located on the Airport Campus in the School of Health Care.
    A minimum of an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a science or health care related field is required. Proficiency in integrating technology tools and resources into teaching, such as virtual simulation software, online learning platforms, and multimedia presentations. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of atomic structure, radioactive decay, nuclear reactions, and medical applications of nuclear physics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner. Candidates should demonstrate dedication to upholding high academic standards.Possession of certifications related to nuclear medicine technology or radiation safety, such as the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification. While a degree specifically in nuclear medicine technology is preferred, it is not mandatory. Previous experience teaching or working in the field of nuclear medicine technology, either in an education or clinical setting, is preferred.
