Nuclear Medicine Director directs and coordinates all aspects of nuclear medicine. Sets policies and procedures for administering radioactive isotopes and therapy to treat and diagnose patients. Additionally, Nuclear Medicine Director typically reports to top management.     JOB SUMMARY

     

    Under the direction of a Nuclear Medical Director/Technical Director (per ICANL classification) performs Nuclear Medicine procedure at a technical level not requiring constant supervision for technical detail.  Performs a variety of technical procedures, which will require independent judgment with ingenuity and the initiative to apply nuclear medicine procedures for a proper radiological diagnosis.  Technologist is responsible for a designated area.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    1. Education:                  Current CNMT or ARRT (NM) Certification

                                           BLS Certification

     

    2. Experience:              Theoretical instruction combined with clinical experience. 

                                          At least 3 years of clinical nuclear medicine experience on a full time basis

                                          Satisfactory references from previous employer or school of Nuclear Medicine

                                         A broad, working knowledge of computers
