Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our small healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your role will involve a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility.

Duties:

- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance claims.

- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.

- Handle medical instruments and supplies safely and accurately.

- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.

- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.

- Previous experience in a medical setting is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of medical coding principles is beneficial.

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care.

- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs..
