Nuclear Medicine Technician provides diagnostic aid to physicians by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Administers and records isotope dosages in accordance with established departmental protocol. Being a Nuclear Medicine Technician observes patients during procedures and reports any abnormal activity. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Nuclear Medicine Technician typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. Requires registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technology certification Board, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.), or the American Society of Clinical Pathology.     Join the PET/CT team at Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging! We are hiring for PET/CT technologists at Bethesda, a freestanding outpatient site that is centrally located within the community and offers free parking on-site.

    As a PET/CT Technologist, you will utilize radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to perform or assist in the performance of diagnostic examinations, including the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and radionuclide imaging of organs and organ systems of patients. You will experience a range of patient demographics and conditions while working on state-of-the-art equipment and updated protocols.

    You will work closely in a team of PET/CT technologists and a team of clinical leadership who are dedicated to fostering growth and opportunities.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School diploma including successful completion of an approved curriculum in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
    • Two (2) years of full time Nuclear Medicine experience.
    • Nuclear Medicine Technologist license by the Maryland Board of Physicians.
    • ARRT CT certification
    • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certified with current registration.
    • CT experience required
    • CPR certification required within three months of employment.
    • Leadership skills

    Full Time (40 hours)

    9:30am - 6:00pm
