Nuclear Pharmacist jobs in Asheville, NC

• Manage drug therapy protocols in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  
• Review, interpret, and evaluate medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems.
  
• Provide drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmacy students.
  
• Document interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
  
• Evaluate medication orders for accuracy and completeness before order entry and after filling by technicians.
  
• Maintain adequate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software.
  
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
  

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required.
  

• Active Pharmacist License is required.
  
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Health Association is required within 30 days of hire.
  

• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
