Nuclear Pharmacist under the direction of a physician, compounds and dispenses radiopharmaceutical drugs to medical care providers. Responsible for procuring, compounding, dispensing, and distributing radiopharmaceuticals. Being a Nuclear Pharmacist analyzes drugs for verification of identity and strength. Must have completed a program in nuclear pharmacy. Additionally, Nuclear Pharmacist may require an advanced degree of pharmacy. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires license to practice. Nuclear Pharmacist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Duties and Responsibilities:
Applicants must be hard-working, dependable, and possess strong communication skills and computer literacy. Applicants must possess a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent from an accredited School of Pharmacy. They also must have a current Pharmacist certification or licensure for the State of North Dakota, or work to transfer it to the State of North Dakota. SALARY IS TBD based on experience.
