Nuclear Pharmacist under the direction of a physician, compounds and dispenses radiopharmaceutical drugs to medical care providers. Responsible for procuring, compounding, dispensing, and distributing radiopharmaceuticals. Being a Nuclear Pharmacist analyzes drugs for verification of identity and strength. Must have completed a program in nuclear pharmacy. Additionally, Nuclear Pharmacist may require an advanced degree of pharmacy. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires license to practice. Nuclear Pharmacist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Clarity is recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist for a pharmacy in North Roscommon!
What you need to know:
This is a permanent role, which will commence ASAP. However, the pharmacy is willing to wait for the right candidate. You have a choice between full- or part-time hours, including alternating Saturdays. No Sundays, late nights or Bank Holidays. There is an excellent support team, including a team of technicians and OTC staff, to help cater to a steady flow of customers. Touchstore is the dispensing system used.
What you’ll be doing:- Management of dispensary and a dynamic team
- Responsible for all operations of the pharmacy
- Looking after the Regulatory compliance with PSI Obligations and other regulatory bodies
- Engaging actively with customers to encourage customer loyalty and confidence.
- Any other duties as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of the team as well as on your own initiative
- Good time management
- Strong customer service skills
- Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
- At least 3 years post-registration experience
