Nuclear Pharmacist jobs in Lake Charles, LA

Good Day Farm is currently seeking a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist, as well as, a Part-Time Pharmacist for evening/weekend coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Correct labeling and dispensing of products
• Dispense products accurately and efficiently to patients in the retail setting
• Review orders for appropriateness and provide drug information to customers and healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Maintain accurate and complete patient profiles
• Provide patient counseling as needed
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice
• No insurance processing
• No on call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana
• Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and documentation
