Responsible for procuring, compounding, dispensing, and distributing radiopharmaceuticals. Being a Nuclear Pharmacist analyzes drugs for verification of identity and strength. Must have completed a program in nuclear pharmacy. Additionally, Nuclear Pharmacist may require an advanced degree of pharmacy. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires license to practice. Nuclear Pharmacist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Schedule
The contractor will provide an estimated eight one-hour sessions per week. Occasionally throughout the year, weekly coverage (40 one-hour sessions per week) will be required. All scheduling shall be mutually agreed upon by the Health Services Administrator and the service provider. Hours of work shall be during the normal duty hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
