Being a Numerical Control Technician selects appropriate tools and determines best strategy for operations. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Additionally, Numerical Control Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Numerical Control Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. Job description
Alta Pest Control is looking for a service professional to join our team. We're a family-owned and operated company with a focus on promoting from within. We've been operating since 2013 and have doubled in size every year since our inception. We're projected to double in size again this year and are looking for people to grow along with us.
The position starts at $15/hr with perks and opportunities for promotion every 6 months. We need a new teammate immediately to run our daily routes. No prior pest control experience required; we provide paid training and state licensing.
We have 2 current positions open:
- Starting 8 am during peak season (11 am during off-season)
- Work Monday through Saturday during peak season (Every Sunday off; variable days off during off-season)
- Minimum 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime during peak season

Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure company truck is clean and stocked with materials
- Travel to clients' homes to perform services daily
- Service homes in a professional and efficient manner
- Fill out and turn in detailed paperwork associated with each job
- Handle clients' concerns and questions in a professional and friendly manner
- Represent the Alta brand at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Clean Driving Record (no DUIs in last 3 yrs or major violations in last 2 yrs)
- Ability to pass a background check (government oversees licensing and performs background checks on all candidates)
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Must live within a 30-minute drive of the warehouse
- Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift at least 35 Ibs.
