Numerical Control Technician jobs in Paramus, NJ
Numerical Control Technician constructs, maintains, and tests numerically controlled machinery. Inspects equipment to ensure proper functioning. Being a Numerical Control Technician selects appropriate tools and determines best strategy for operations. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Additionally, Numerical Control Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Numerical Control Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. You must enjoy working in a variety of conditions, inside, outside, in crawl spaces, and utilizing an extension ladder safely up to 32 ft. You must be able to work independently, have strong organizational and communication skills, can operate technological tools such as smartphones, would be neat in appearance, be a good communicator, and definitely be unafraid of bugs and pests.
All applicants must have a valid driver’s license (not provisional) which meets the criteria for our employment requirements and must pass a drug and background screening.
