REGISTERED NURSE - LONG TERM ACUTE CARE (LTAC)

This contract offers 12 hours shifts over a 13-week duration. Extension options may be available at the end of the contract! MORE ABOUT THE RN REGISTERED NURSE – LONG TERM ACUTE CARE (LTAC) POSITION:

1. Receive admission and/or transfers to the unit
2. Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
3. Timely and accurate documentation
4. Interpret assessments / diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
5. Promote continuous quality improvement
6. Respond to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment
7. Act as a patient advocate while providing education and support to patients and their families
8. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RN REGISTERED NURSE – LONG TERM ACUTE CARE (LTAC) POSITION:

1. Minimum 2 years of LTAC experience
2. Valid RN license in Alabama
3. BLS and ACLS certification issued through the AHA
4. Must be eligible to work in the United States
