Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Room jobs in Lubbock, TX
Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Room works in collaboration with a physician to assess the physical needs of patients admitted to the emergency room. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Room prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Room requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a physician. Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Room's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors (preferred) degree in Nursing
At least 1 Years of recent experience as a ER Nurse.
BLS & ACLS Required. TNCC & PALS must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
Must possess a current NM license as a RN or a multi-state compact license that allows nurse to work in NM
