The EHC operates as a stand-alone Nurse Practitioner driven and operated facility under the Direction and cooperation of the City of Aiken and Business & Industry Health of Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

    Job Duties
    :

    The Nurse Practitioner is assigned to support clinic activities at a site or operation. Duties may include: conducting clinical assessments, making diagnoses, fitness for duty, functional capacity testing, and treatment of work related injuries and general illness. Interprets physician orders, appropriate labs, and diagnostic tests.

    Qualifications:
    Job Requirements:
    Maintain current South Carolina Nurse Practitioner’s license with authorization for prescriptive authority. Three to five years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Urgent Care and Occupational Health Setting required. Registered with SC DHEC and US Dept. of Justice DEA. DOT certified to administer physicals and collections or be willing to obtain within a designated period. Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist preferred. Maintain current signed protocols reviewed and revised annually and as needed.
