Nurse Practitioner examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Being a Nurse Practitioner may prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests. Advises patients about continuing care. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires RN. Requires Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Nurse Practitioner's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are seeking an on-call Nurse Practitioner to join our Now Care Department.
This position offers shifts and schedule which are variable with some weekend hours required.
In this position you will:
- Perform patient exams and diagnostics
- Perform or assist with procedures and therapies
- Provide patient education and support
- Participate in department development and quality activities
- Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission
- Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care
Benefits are limited for on-call positions
Minimum Requirements:
- APRN License in the State of Montana
- Previous Family Medicine/Primary Care experience is highly preferred
The successful candidate will be subject to a background check.
