Nurse Practitioner examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Being a Nurse Practitioner may prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests. Advises patients about continuing care. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires RN. Requires Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Nurse Practitioner's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner who has Cardiology experience to add to our healthcare team within Senior Care Facilities. You would be under the direction of the VP of Clinical Operations, but you would have the flexibility to set your schedule as long as you are fulfilling your duties. Our team is built with adults, and we like to manage everyone as adults. We would love to talk to you about joining our team. 

    What are the must haves (aka minimum requirements)

    • Current and valid NP/PA licensure in the state where this position is located 
    • Access to insured reliable transportation
    • 1 year of Cardiology experience
    • 1 year nursing-related experience for PAs

    Tell me about the job duties (aka key responsibilities but not all encompassing)

    • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
    • Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
    • Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
    • Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests
    • Maintain complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses.
    • Prescribe medications.
    • Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.
