    Overview

    Nationally Recognized Hospital System!

    Responsibilities

We are seeking a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) to join our team of dedicated neonatologists, NNP/PAs to provide care to patients in suburban and in-town Atlanta. Piedmont hospitals have received more "A" grades from the nonprofit Leapfrog Group than any other system in the state.

    • Coverage will be at all 3 of our locations in the Atlanta area: Piedmont Atlanta, Piedmont Henry (Stockbridge, GA) and Piedmont Fayette (Fayetteville, GA), providing opportunities to practice at more than one facility with the same EMR (Epic) and hospital NICU policies.
    • NNP’s attend high-risk deliveries, round on NICU and Intermediate Nursery babies and also help see newborns in the Mother/Baby Nursery.
    • Coverage at Piedmont Atlanta will be in-house 24 hour shifts and NNP/PAs at Piedmont Henry and Piedmont Fayette will be working 10-hour daytime shifts. Schedule is flexible, depending on preferences of NNP/PA and geographic location of home.
    • Our NICUs have the capability to provide comprehensive care for infants ranging from extremely low birth weight to full-term requiring specialized interventions, such as HFOV, inhaled nitric oxide therapy and 24 hr video EEG capabilities.
    • Our NICU resuscitation teams attend lower risk deliveries, allowing NNP/PAs to focus on caring for critically ill neonates.
