Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal works in collaboration with a physician to assess the physical needs of newborn patients. Provides care for newborns and infants in a neonatal setting. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a physician. Requires Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in specialty area based on RN licensure and state authority for advanced practice. Characteristics of desired applicant:
-Current and Unrestricted APRN license in the state of South Carolina
-Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: physical examinations, obtaining vital signs, administering injections, implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate records, educating patient on health conditions, as well as risks and side effects of prescribed medications, etc.
- Experience with medical weight loss, dermal fillers, and/or neurotoxins is a plus.
- Positive attitude with desire to work closely with small team of employees.
- Ability to be empathetic and understanding of patients' circumstances to determine best medical treatment plan to promote overall physical and mental health.
-Weekly Work Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays 9am-5pm. Tuesdays 9am-7pm. Fridays 9am-1pm. No weekends. No call.
