Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a physician. Requires Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in specialty area based on RN licensure and state authority for advanced practice. We are recruiting a PRN Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. Our cohesive group is looking for a dynamic NNP to provide quality care to our growing pediatric population. The schedule will include 12- or 24-hour shifts to cover 25 nursery and 4 pediatric beds in our 255-bed community hospital. This position will work collaboratively with a Pediatric Hospitalist in our level 2 nursery.
