A 200 bed Northern California non-profit Medical Center is actively seeking Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse for their busy NICU.
Reporting to the NICU Nurse Manager, the NICU Registered Nurse will be working in a fast-past 20 bed Level III NICU. The NICU Registered Nurse will focus on providing excellent care to neonatal intensive care patients through the continuum of their stay. The NICU Registered Nurse will be involved in ensuring evidence-based care is provided to patients by assisting with quality improvement efforts.
The NICU Registered Nurse will join a team dedicated to maintaining a culture of clinical excellence, advocacy, and development. The ideal candidate will have a background in Neonatal Nursing and will be passionate about supporting their patients.
The NICU Registered Nurse will work in the Level III NICU alongside a team of registered nurses and technicians, reporting to the Nurse Manager. The NICU Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to the newborns, act as a resource to new-mothers and families, stay up to date on the current patient care treatment plans, and assist the Nurse Educator with new-hire education. The NICU Registered Nurse will be a compassionate individual that can maintain an even temperament when delivering difficult information.
