We are interviewing for a part-time Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners to join our growing House Calls Mobile PCP practice in Northwest Arlington/East Ft Worth. Must live near the locations posted. Experience with Geriatric patients in their home environment a plus. Only qualified candidates in this area will be considered.
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:- Performing physical exams and patient observations for Geriatric patients in their home, ILF, ALF, Memory Care, Group Homes and Senior Communities.
- Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms in EMR system.
- Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
- Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
- Identifying the need for and ordering medical equipment.
- Diagnosing health issues.
- Managing, ordering, assessing effectiveness of medications and other treatments.
- Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
- Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
- Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
- NO ON CALL.
- NO WEEKENDS.
- NO MAJOR HOLIDAYS.
