Nurse Practitioner - Nursing Home jobs in Waterloo, IA

NuCara Infusion Services is a growing business seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner for the Ambulatory Infusion Center and home infusion division located in Waterloo, Iowa.

Specific duties include:

• Starting peripheral lines
• Managing PICC/Port access devices
• Checking vitals
• Patient charting
• Supervising infusions
• Providing patient education on intravenous access devices
• Occasional administration of home infusion therapies within the patient home setting
• Providing infusion related education to nurses in the long term care and home health settings
• Promotion of infusion services alongside the Business Development team

Ideal candidates will be outgoing, personable, caring, looking to grow within their career and exemplify strong leadership skills.

Requirements for this position include experience with administering infusion therapies, experience with case management and two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an infusion or office setting. Home care experience is beneficial.
