Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Administer treatments, medications, and IV infusions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Assist in minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, including behavioral health conditions
- Conduct triage assessments in urgent care settings
- Utilize skills in psychopharmacology for mental health treatment
- Perform specialized procedures such as cardiac catheterization, ophthalmology exams, and botulinum toxin treatments
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty area of focus
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding and documentation
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Strong background in laboratory interpretation and diagnostics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
