Position Qualifications:
Two to three years clinic and/or hospital experience preferred.
Responsible for the management of patient health problems, and the coordination of healthcare for
patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations, along with nursing standards of
care.
Ability to provide the full scope of primary care services which fall under his/her field of training,
including but not limited to the assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and
treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status.
Ability, as a member of the MHLC team, to be familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives of MHLC
and work collaboratively to achieve them.
Ability to be cognizant of, and comply with all MHLC policies and procedures, providing clinical
management in the coordination of care, preventative care, and health maintenance, in collaboration
with other health care team members.
Educational Requirements:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure
Currently meet all State Requirements and possess Valid Prescriptive Authority
Possess Current Provider Certifications and Cards in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support ( PALS)
Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and information systems to enable accurate and
