Nurse Practitioner - Specialty Care works in collaboration with a physician to assess the physical needs of patient's medical type such as psychiatric, oncology or obstetrics. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Specialty Care prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Specialty Care typically reports to a physician. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) in specialty area based on RN licensure and state authority for advanced practice. Nurse Practitioner - Specialty Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     Set your own schedule and earn an excellent income! This is an autonomous field-based, prevention/education-focused opportunity that takes you out of the mundane office setting.

    Our healthcare providers conduct comprehensive, in-home Health/Annual Wellness Visits with Medicare patients as part of their health insurance benefits. The evaluations are conducted in a face-to-face manner where the member resides. Within the visit, the clinician reinforces the importance of staying current on covered preventive services while identifying potential gaps in care, which stem from unnecessary hospitalizations and ER visits.

    Our Providers enjoy:

    • Flexibility - Design your own schedule with weekend visits as an option
    • No prescribing or treatment, simply performing consultative assessments/evaluations
    • Fixed payment per completed appointment.

    Requirement:

    • Must be State licensed and Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with NPI.
    • At least 6 months of experience in doing wellness exams is a MUST.
    • Previous EMR skills preferred. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

    The following will be provided:

    • Credentialing services and paid training.
    • Liability insurance.
    • Fixed payment per visit.
    • Scheduling of appointments with Medicare members within a certain time frame.
    • Web tracking and scheduling tools to maximize your travel time.
    • Ipad Tablet Provided.
    • Mileage Reimbursement.
