Nurse Supervisor - Phone Triage jobs in Cincinnati, OH

West Side Pediatrics is seeking a registered nurse (RN) with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to work as a FULL TIME Triage Phone Nurse in a busy 10 provider pediatric office.

Excellent patient relations, collaboration, communication, and multi-tasking skills are necessary.

Job responsibilities include triaging incoming calls from parents regarding their child’s health and asking appropriate questions to determine patient needs. Provide medical advice based on office protocols. Discuss patient conditions with the provider and relay medical advice/directions to the parent. Care coordination with follow up on referrals, tests/procedures, ED visits, and patient’s medical condition. Clinical duties include but are not limited to medication administration, patient assessment, urine catheterization, and NP suctioning. Other duties as assigned.

Previous medical office and/or pediatric experience is preferred.

This is a FULL TIME position with regularly scheduled hours. Approximately 32-36 hours per week. Must be able to work day/evening shifts and some weekend time.

• Valid Ohio nursing license required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
