Nursing Assistant assists nursing team with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of patients. Assists patients in dressing, undressing, bathing, eating, walking, and other activities. Being a Nursing Assistant ensures patients' well-being and comfort. Changes bed linens and assists with patient transportation to tests and procedures. Additionally, Nursing Assistant may serve and collect food trays and provide patients with between-meal nourishment. May record temperature or vital signs under the direction of a nurse. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. The Nursing Assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     What we're looking for in this position:

    Our next Assistant Director of Nursing will direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care and staff. Initiates corrective action as required. We are also looking for skill in focusing on enhancing and coordinating resident care and clinical programs and quality scores.

    Overview:
    As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be overseeing the rehab and resident clinical programs to ensure physical and psycho-social needs are being met and standards are being followed. The Assistant Director of Nursing also directs and organizes required Medicare/Medicaid assessments and required documentation. Along with evaluating resident care as needed to determine orders and care plan approaches are in place and followed for resident's needs, family involvement and the physician's plan of care for the resident. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Responsibilities:
    - Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations
    - Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols
    - Manage and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed
    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
    - Oversee the maintenance of accurate medical records and documentation
    - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare guidelines
    - Participate in strategic planning and budgeting activities for the nursing department
    - Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth

    Skills:
    - Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively supervise and manage a team
    - Extensive knowledge of acute care settings and nursing administration systems
    - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    - Proficient in medical record management and documentation
    - In-depth understanding of Medicare guidelines and regulations
    - Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
    - Valid nursing license in [STATE]
    - Minimum [NUMBER] years of experience in a supervisory or management role within an acute care setting
