Nursing Assistant assists nursing team with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of patients. Assists patients in dressing, undressing, bathing, eating, walking, and other activities. Being a Nursing Assistant ensures patients' well-being and comfort. Changes bed linens and assists with patient transportation to tests and procedures. Additionally, Nursing Assistant may serve and collect food trays and provide patients with between-meal nourishment. May record temperature or vital signs under the direction of a nurse. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. The Nursing Assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Schedules Available: This is a Full Time, Salaried, Exempt position
Assistant Director of Nursing Duties/Responsibilities:
Establishes objectives for the nursing department, identifies resources, determines required tasks, prioritizes actions, implements plans, and monitors feedback.
Analyzes quality metrics and quality measures and develops and implements plans to improve services.
Ensures all State and Federal legal requirements for care and professional standards are met.
Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements/Qualifications:
Current unencumbered Registered Nursing license required.
Long-term care experience required.
BSN preferred.
Must have a working knowledge of the Rules and Regulations governing long term care including, Bundled Payments, VBP, 5-Star Quality Ratings, the SOM, MDS, QMs, Casper reports, Interact, QIS, etc.
Must have 3-5 years’ experience leading a team.
