Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home administers the nursing program in a nursing home in the absence of the Nursing Director. Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care. Being a Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Assists in the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Additionally, Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Typically requires an advanced degree of nursing. Typically reports to the Nursing Director. Requires RN license. The Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Health Services (Assistant Director of Nursing) who is passionate about making a difference for our beautiful Bellingham memory care community
Position Pay:
$100K - $105K annually

The non-negotiables:
Currently licensed RN or LPN
1 year or more of management experience
Must have valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance
What you'll be doing:
Planning, developing, coordinating, mentoring, training and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department while staying in compliance with current federal, state, guidelines, and company's regulations to secure the highest level of quality care is provided
Training and development of staff development and implementation of programs to enhance resident satisfaction, and establishment of a climate necessary for continuous growth
