Norton Staffing and Associates is a local staffing agency located in Amherst that partners with schools, programs, and facilities throughout the state of NH to help with filling their staffing needs. We are seeking a LNA for a position located in Deerfield, NH

Licensed Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:

The LNA will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals who need assistance. This includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Direct Care: Provide direct care and support to individuals.
• ADL Assistance: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Health Monitoring: Monitor and document health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Safety Assurance: Ensure safety and well-being by following established protocols and respecting their rights.
• Meal Assistance: Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and dining assistance as needed.
• Social Engagement: Engage in meaningful activities and social interactions.
• Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized living environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to assist with daily living activities.
• Knowledge of basic health and safety protocols.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This includes the ability to lift and move items as well as assist residents with physical tasks.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a PER DIEM Weekdays & Weekends

HOURS 7am - 3pm

Position located in Deerfield, NH.

Pay: $27.50 / Hour

Must be able to reliably get to the location as well as have a clear background check
