Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home jobs in Kansas City, KS

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective nursing policies and procedures.

Duties:
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including nurses, nurse managers, and nurse practitioners
- Develop and implement nursing care plans and protocols
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements
- Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans
- Supervise the implementation of systems to improve patient care and safety
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technologies

*Have Experience in Assisted Living as a Wellness Director

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing administration or a related field
- Experience in acute care, assisted living, hospice care, or a similar setting
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
