Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home administers the nursing program in a nursing home in the absence of the Nursing Director. Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care. Being a Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Assists in the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Additionally, Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Typically requires an advanced degree of nursing. Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing administration or a related field
- Experience in acute care, assisted living, hospice care, or a similar setting
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
