Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home administers the nursing program in a nursing home in the absence of the Nursing Director. Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: This position will require a nursing expert with the professional knowledge and skills to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the delivery of resident care and services in accordance with all current regulatory standards to ensure the highest degree of quality care; demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to provide resident care; expert knowledge of policies, regulations, and procedures governing resident care and services; demonstrated ability to apply the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing associated with short-stay and long-term resident care; preparing and maintaining detailed records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence; cultivate and manage a servant-leader relationship with residents, employees, medical staff, and the community; effective manage regulatory and company compliant quality controls; demonstrate effective verbal and written English communication.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Prior experience as Director of Nursing in SNF (2 years) preferred.
Certificates/Licenses: (1) Current RN Ohio License in good standing, (2) CPR certification
