We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to resident rights and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of care is provided to residents
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care and compliance with regulatory standards
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Oversee medication management and administration, ensuring adherence to protocols
- Monitor and maintain resident health records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care plans and address any concerns or issues
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to nursing home and acute care settings
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of [New Jersey]
