Director of Nursing

The GrayBrier is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. Your role will involve managing a team of nurses, ensuring quality resident care, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. We are conveniently located near High Point, Greensboro, and the surrounding Triad.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement nursing care plans for patients
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of nursing practice
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Educate residents and their families about their healthcare options and treatment plans
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in delivering high-quality care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing administration or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Familiarity with Medicare regulations and guidelines
• Experience in hospice care is a plus

Pay: $96,988.00 - $102,627.00 per year
