Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care is responsible for identifying training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within the home care specialty. Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions. Being a Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care ensures compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.   • Sweetwater Care is searching for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for our community in Montana. This position is for Pioneer Care and Rehabilitation, licensed for 87 beds and located in Dillon, MT. 

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    - Establish systems to enforce facility policies and procedures.

    - Act as a liaison to the governing body for the medical, nursing, and other professional staff and all facility departments.

    - Supervise all department supervisors and administrative staff.

    - Be responsible for all financial transactions including the management of budgets and revenue growth. 

    - Supervise the confidentiality and safe storage of current and closed resident records, personnel records, and physical plant records with regulatory requirements.

    - Arbitrate complaints and disputes concerning residents, families, or personnel.

    - Assume responsibility for reviewing and evaluating all recommendations of the facility’s committees and consultants.

    - Observe all facility policies and procedures.

    - Consistently work cooperatively with residents, residents’ representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants, and ancillary service providers.

           

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

     

    - Valid Nursing Home Administrator license in the State of Montana.

    - 1 year minimum of experience in a Nursing Home Administrator position preferred.

    - Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and facility staff.

    - Knowledge of skilled nursing facility (SNF) regulations.

    - Ethical, able to maintain confidentiality and a high degree of integrity.

    - Ability to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a professional, prompt manner.
