Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care is responsible for identifying training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within the home care specialty. Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions. Being a Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care ensures compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Visit times for this location are
Every Tuesday & Thursday - 5:45 am - 7:50 am
Every other Monday - 5:45 am - 7:50 am
Every other Friday - 5:45 am - 7:50 am
(Monday & Friday are the same week)
Our nurses are paid on a per visit basis. Recent increase in pay per visit structure.

Our person centered assessments will monitor overall general health as well as minor skin injuries, provide management of chronic medical conditions (diabetes, dementia, skin ulcers, seizures heart failure, respiratory distress), early identification of serious medical conditions (pulmonary aspiration, bowel obstruction, GERD, dehydration, sepsis, etc.), referral and coordination of in home therapy services (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) and provide education and support on medical status, equipment, prescribed medications and overall health and wellness strategies.
