Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care is responsible for identifying training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within the home care specialty. Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions. Being a Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care ensures compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. PEDs Nursing in School & Home:Each separate client we are looking to match up with an amazing nurse is under 10 years of age. If the child is staying home from school or is off of school, you will work with the client at home; when the is going to school, you will work with the client in the school setting.You will address the one-on-one needs of your client during the school day traveling from classroom to classroom, in the lunchroom, and during other activities as per the client’s daily schedule.
- Hours are Monday-Friday 7a-4:30p (may vary slightly according to district schedule)
- Evenings and weekends off from work.
- Immediate hire, with any necessary training prior to starting.
PEDs Nursing in School & Home Requirements:
- 6 months of nursing experience is required; Pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
- Preferred experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, G-Tubes, and Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS).
- Full-time, year-round availability.
