Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Bayonet Point is looking for an Admissions Coordinator. The admissions Coordinator supports the Admissions/Marketing Director in executing the goals and objectives of the Admissions department. This individual will be helping our Skilled Nursing home facility with referrals and admission into the Facility

Responsibilities:

• Admissions Processing
• Maintain records and results on all referral and conversion activity.
• Assess inquiries when necessary and respond to referral sources based on protocol, communicate admission decisions, and ensure positive admission experience for customers and families.
• Work with Admissions Director and Team to follow up on pending referrals.
• Other duties as assigned

Admissions Coordinator Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in electronic record management systems
• Efficient typing and data capturing skills
• Advanced communication and customer relation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Ability to multitask on a team and alone
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience:

• Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
• skilled nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)
• Point-Click Care: 1 year (Preferred)
